What’s up for August ?

August is starting out where July left off, busy. I have pending orders that need to be cut before I can take new orders. Some of the orders pending are very large. It seems that when you have a good product, word does travel fast.

Again, you can load your cart up with bases you would like to have me make for you. I ask that you be patient.

I have to start saying “no” to custom order bases at this time as they consume way too much of time working out the details and getting them cut. The turn around time on custom bases can be as long as a month, back and forth with emails and pictures. I may have to limit that to quieter times of the year.

I’m gone August 5th, 7th-16th due to my DNR job responsibilities.

July shop schedule update

I plan on being away from the shop July 12th until July28th. At this time, you will not be able to process your order. I plan on being back in the shop for a few days at the end of the month.

Hello and welcome. Since my basket base business’s inception over 14 years ago in historic Cedarburg Wisconsin, times have changed a bit and the way of doing business has followed suit. I am a one man band playing tunes to a wide range of different genre so keeping up with customers can sometimes be a challenge. I hope that by keeping you informed about my time spent in the work shop and the various bases that I create it will help you in making a decision on which products you want to purchase.

For the month of July, I plan on being in the shop cutting orders as they arrive. I am catching up on back orders, so there is a bit of lag time. If you plan on ordering bases, the best day for placing an order is Monday or Tuesday. Orders are cut in the order that they are received. Custom base requests require a traced pattern or a quality picture or both. Guessing at what you are describing by email without a picture just doesn’t work very well.

I try very hard to get orders out in a timely manner, but sometimes I have so many orders, that I get behind. If that occurs, I do contact customers who have placed orders and advise them of the delay and keep them informed. This method has worked the best in the past. If you need bases by a certain date, please don’t hesitate to order early and let me know that there is a time restraint.
